Speed not detected (EP8 generation)
The EP8-generation counterpart to W011: the system receives no valid speed signal from the speed sensor, so assist is limited. The most frequent cause is a spoke or rotor magnet that has shifted relative to the sensor, or a damaged sensor cable. Checking magnet position and sensor gap usually resolves it.

Roadside self-help
- Check the position of the spoke/rotor magnet and realign it with the sensor.
- Inspect the sensor cable for visible damage.
- Restart the system; if the warning remains, see a dealer.
