Internal drive unit fault
The drive unit reports an internal error, which can be caused by the software as well as by the electronics or moisture inside the motor. Bosch officially only recommends a restart; if the error keeps coming back, the drive unit has to be diagnosed by a dealer. In stubborn cases this can end in an exchange drive unit.

Roadside self-help
- Switch the system off, wait a few seconds and switch it on again
- Remove the battery, reinsert it and restart
- If the error returns, see a Bosch dealer
Possible causes
- Temporary software hang medium
- Defect in the motor electronics medium
- Moisture inside the drive unit low
